Venerdì 16 novembre dovrebbe uscire in contemporanea in tutto il mondo un nuovo prodotto di Magic the Gathering targato Wizards: si tratta di "Elves vs. Goblins: Duel Decks", un pacchetto di due mazzi precostituiti, uno monoverde "Elfo" e uno monorosso "Goblin", riuniti nella stessa confezione e già pronti per essere giocati. Il prodotto sembra essere rivolto principalmente a tutti i giocatori novizi o alle prime armi, visto che i mazzi non dovrebbero essere realmente competitivi in un torneo, pur restando ben assortiti, equilibrati e divertenti da giocare. L’aspetto interessante del prodotto è che una carta rara di ogni pacchetto (Capo Imboscata per gli elfi e Capo della Squadra di Assedio per i goblin) sarà FOIL e avrà un'illustrazione nuova rispetto a quelle uscite nelle edizioni "normali". In totale, ogni mazzo sarà composto dalle consuete 60 carte, 4 delle quali, rare.
